If you haven't had the pleasure of watching the anime Ergo Proxy yet, do it! Amazing animation action and intelligent storyline set in a dystopic sci-fi setting. Kind of Matrix meets Bladerunner. Lots of action and this one makes you think as you watch. It's no passive ride on the action train. Fangirl much? Oh yeah, ermm, the girl in this piece is Real Mayar, one of the lead characters. She's a kick-butt security officer pursuing something known only as a 'proxy'. And, omg, lead female with clothes on, and not a Japanese schoolgirl outfit in sight! Who's that masked man in the background looking down upon her seeming to be both menacing and sad? Well, I'll just say that be a Proxy and leave it at that. Telling much more is spoilerish, yuss, and spoilers are bad.

Been working on this one obsessively for several days. Had to take many many screenshots of my own to get enough decent refs. It's amazing how few full body shots of Real there are in the series and there's little online since this anime is so new.
